Lin-kabs Pharmaceutical Ltd was incorporated on the 1st day of November 1989, as a limited liability company for the importation and distribution of finished pharmaceutical formulations.

The company is a family-owned business under the chairmanship of Chief Livinus Ukpaka, a businessman of many years experience in the pharmaceutical industry. The head office and warehouse are located at No. 42 Ziks Avenue Fegge Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria. We also have a liaison office and warehouse in Lagos.

Lin-Kabs Pharmaceuticals is duly registered with the Pharmacists’ Council of Nigeria. The company has successfully registered over 50 products at Nigeria’s FDA. The company specializes in the importation and distribution of eye drops and has over 32years of experience in the business. Lin-Kabs Pharmaceutical Limited was also among the first companies to start registering its products with NAFDAC as at the time when Nigeria started to be a regulated market.

The company is the sole agent in Nigeria to the international ophthalmic manufacturer ASHFORD LABORATORIES, a US-owned and managed company with factories and scientific offices in the USA, U.K, Spain, Hong Kong, Macau, etc. The company has been distributing Ashford’s products for many years in Nigeria and has promoted their products so well that Lin-kabs Pharm. has become a brand name in Nigeria which is synonymous with eye drops in Nigeria. The company and its products have become well known to ophthalmologists, optometrists, ophthalmic nurses, pharmacists and eye patients in Nigeria and in view of this, has won several awards in 2006, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2016 and 2017 from the West African Direct Marketing Awards, Institute For Government ting Awards, Institute For Government Research & Leadership Technology, Faculty Of Ophthalmology – National Post-Graduate Medical College Of Nigeria and Nigerian Optometric Association, FCT Chapter.

The company maintains the largest (Deluxe) stand at the drug exhibition sections during each annual conference of eye doctors in Nigeria. The strength of the company lies in the quality of its products and the strong field force of medical representatives and salespeople stationed in the different regions of the country. The company’s products are stocked in the pharmacies of most of the eye hospitals in Nigeria both private and government-owned eye centers.

Currently, the company has entered into trade relations with another good manufacturer (Sunways-Rohto), in order to bring in more formulations. Lin-kabs Pharmaceuticals Ltd has also registered with NAFDAC, many Eye products from Sunways Rohto, and now has a wide range of eye preparations from the above-mentioned world-class Eye products manufacturers: Ashford Laboratories Ltd and Sunways Rohto Pvt. Ltd.
